| Abunai! | Abunai! is a project involving former Nisi Period bassist Kris Thompson and, in an odd twist of fate, a guy I went to college with by the name of Dan Parmenter. By all accounts a fine, mind expanding act - but check out their web site for yourself. These guys have been getting around, even playing Terrastock III in England, and have been written up in Rolling Stone a couple of times. | ||
| Rick Berlin | Rick Berlin is an optimist trapped in a cynic's point of view (he may disagree) writing songs about life, love, and all that stuff we do when we aren't sleeping. Lots of satire covers a soft, chewy center. | ||
Bourbon Princess
| Bass/cello/drums trio playing low rock with many
influences. Playing lots of small venues and clubs North and
South of the Charles.
| The Pasties
| Formerly known as Mighty Vitamin, this
pop trio has a great sound and puts on a mean live show. Saw them
in May/June '00 at Arlene Grocery (NYC) -- good stuff...

I like live music at small, friendly places. There're lots of good bands and performers that play the clubs around Boston, and I wanted to keep it that way. So in an effort to help them out, I used to keep this collection of pages, links, and sound clips together.
Since then there's been an explosion of resources for bands trying to get their music out there. I keep these pages around for kicks, memories, and the odd "whatever happened to" email.
