Well, the period from early '97 to mid-'98 has not been very forgiving to me or my cars. I try not to think about how much money has been taken away by the twists of the road in this period, or much much sooner I could have been working on buying a house if this hadn't happened.
But that's fairly counter productive. And with the bad, there's been a fair amount of good. I never would have thought of buying a Porsche if my poor little CRX hadn't been taken away. And I never would have upgraded that 944 to an 'S' model, which would have been a shame as the '85½ and later cars are just much more refined and enjoyable cruising machines. Of course I would have gotten a 914 sooner, but...
