Just got back from a month in California. This wasn't a vacation, it was orientation for a new job with Sendmail, Inc. I'm a senior technical consultant in their professional services group, which means I get to work from home much of the time, and maybe work at a client site one to two weeks out of each month. I could do with the travel, and the Paris office is hoping to lure some technical staff over from time to time...
While I'm out West, someone starts talking seriously about buying the assets of last year's project, m4Logic, and wondering if I can help them bring it back to life. What lousy timing - a month earlier, and... Well, I'll have to figure out how to answer them soon.
One very fun thing I did during this month is start riding a friend's motorcycle. Loads of fun, I am definitely taking this up as soon as the weather clears up here in Massachusetts. I've already signed up for a class that'll get me licensed, and I know what kind of bike I'd like to start out with. Definitely looking forward to that this summer.
